Mission Statement - Biology Department

   The mission of the biology department at Wallace State Community College is to provide a general backgound in the biological science to its students. The department strives to enable each student to attain excellence in his/her educational pursuits by varying its teaching strategies to accommodate the diverse learning styles of all students. The objective of the department is to provide educational opportunities to students in the healthcare career track and to provide the core course instruction necessary for those students in the university transfer program.
