Wallace State Theater Department's Production of "Clue" Uproarious
HANCEVILLE, Ala.-The murder mystery "Clue," presented by the Wallace State Theater Department, drew a large and lively crowd in the Student Center Theater on Wednesday, the third day of Wallace State's Cultural Arts Week festivities.

A cast of eleven reenacted events surrounding the death of Mr. Body, the blackmailer who had arranged the gathering. Cast members included Brandon Leming as the Announcer, Pat Ballew as Mr. Green, Courtney Simmons as Mrs. Peacock, Whitney Simmons as Mrs. Black, Rachel Jones as Yvette/Mr. Body, Joshua Adkins as Prof. Plum, Matt Butts as Wadsworth, Trace King as Col. Mustard, Sarah Bagley as the Singing Messenger, Kari Burke as Miss Scarlett, and Dishon Clark as the Sound Man.

Rachel Jones played both Yvette and Mr. Body in the Wallace State Theater Department's production of "Clue" on Wednesday.
"This was our second show for the semester," said Wallace State theater director Rob Metcalf. "The students did a great job, especially putting it together in such a short period of time. This was a play they really had fun with."

Audience members also found the play hilariously funny and roared throughout with laughter.
Earlier in the semester the department presented "The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged)."
This was the only performance of "Clue." Friday and Saturday performances have been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.
On Thursday, April 12, the English department will present renowned storyteller Kathryn Tucker Windham at 9:30 a.m. in the Student Center Theatre. Admission is free.
On Friday, April 13, the music department will present "Swing into Spring," an evening of dancing and dining to the big band sound of the Wallace State Jazz Show Band at 7 p.m. in the banquet hall. A $15 donation is requested.
On Saturday, April 14, the art department will present a juried visual art exhibition in the James C. Bailey Center foyer from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission is free. The art exhibition will be open for public viewing April 10-14.
To close out the week, the Wallace State concert choir will perform its spring tour bon voyage concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the music department's recital hall for a $5 donation. The group will perform Franz Josef Haydn's "Missa Sancti Johannes de Deo: Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs."
