Nominations for the 2007 Outstanding Alumni Awards



HANCEVILLE, AL--The Wallace State Community College Alumni Association
is now accepting nominations for the 2007 Outstanding Alumni Awards.



Ten outstanding alumni will be recognized for exceptional
accomplishments in their professions and for outstanding service in the
community during the Outstanding Alumni Banquet on August 17.



Nominees must meet the following criteria:

* Wallace State graduate (or have completed 24 semester hours or more of
college level coursework);

* Demonstrated achievement within their field of work or expertise;

* Significant community-based service as a board member or key volunteer
at community or non-profit agencies, hospitals, or schools; and

* Preferred - Demonstrated a commitment to Wallace State Community
College. This commitment may include philanthropic contributions,
volunteer service, and/or service as an employee.



Nominations must be received or postmarked by July 6 for consideration.
