Wallace State Alumni Association Offers Ozell Hinkle Benefactor
Scholarship



Hanceville, Ala.--The Wallace State Alumni Association is now accepting
applications for the Ozell Hinkle Benefactor scholarship. The
scholarship is for the 2007-2008 academic year in the amount of $500.



One of Wallace State's most cherished supporters, Hinkle took every
opportunity to promote the college through his presence at Wallace State
events, and often said that Wallace State was one of the best things to
ever happen to Cullman County. He was a longtime member and officer of
the Wallace State Alumni Association.



An applicant for the Ozell Hinkle Benefactor scholarship must be a
dependent of a 2006-2007 Wallace State Alumni Association member, have a
minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate involvement in community and school
activities. The application deadline is Friday, June 8.



The scholarship recipient must volunteer in the Alumni Office once per
semester during the year to assist with alumni activities.



Applications for all Wallace State Alumni scholarships are available in
the Alumni Office on the 10th floor of the James C. Bailey Center or by
visiting the Alumni web site at www.wallacestate.edu/alumni.
