Wallace State Employees Invited to Present Work at National Conference
Hanceville, Ala.-Jennifer Hill, Director of Recruiting and Student Activities at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, and Kristen Holmes, Director of Communications and Marketing at Wallace State, were featured presenters at the recent National Communications, Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) Annual Conference in San Diego, Calif. Their hour-long presentation on enrollment management and marketing drew a standing room only crowd of more than 170 community college professionals.
In all, two dozen sessions were presented over the intensive three day period. Topics ranged from enrollment management and market research, to web design, graphic design, e-marketing, crisis communications, and branding. Additionally, 24 roundtables gave participants opportunities to brainstorm together on creative solutions to common problems.
NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and PR professionals at community, technical and junior colleges. One of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR members represent 600 colleges across the United States, Canada and Bahamas.
This was Wallace State's first time to present at the conference.
