Wallace State Employees Invited to Present Work at National Conference

Hanceville, Ala.-Jennifer Hill, Director of Recruiting and Student
Activities at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, and Kristen
Holmes, Director of Communications and Marketing at Wallace State, were
featured presenters at the recent National Communications, Marketing and
Public Relations (NCMPR) Annual Conference in San Diego, Calif. Their
hour-long presentation on enrollment management and marketing drew a
standing room only crowd of more than 170 community college
professionals.

In all, two dozen sessions were presented over the intensive three day
period. Topics ranged from enrollment management and market research, to
web design, graphic design, e-marketing, crisis communications, and
branding. Additionally, 24 roundtables gave participants opportunities
to brainstorm together on creative solutions to common problems.

NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents
marketing and PR professionals at community, technical and junior
colleges. One of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American
Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR members represent 600 colleges
across the United States, Canada and Bahamas.

This was Wallace State's first time to present at the conference.
