Lions' Basketball Signs Tyler Bynum as Manager
HANCEVILLE, Ala.--Wallace State-Hanceville men's basketball head coach Allen Sharpe recently signed his basketball manager for the 2007-08 season. Tyler Bynum will be on the sidelines assisting Sharpe and the players this fall.
"This is a great opportunity for Tyler," Sharpe said. "He wants to become a coach one day and this is a good way for him to get some experience."

Currently a senior at Oneonta High School where he played basketball, Bynum first became familiar with Wallace State and its basketball program when his older brother and cousin attended.
"I'm very excited to be coming here," he said. "I'm looking forward to staying around basketball, enjoying the game and working with the players."
Sharpe was impressed with Bynum's interest in learning and mentality for the game. "He knows about the game from playing in high school, and he's very excited about the chance to be with a collegiate team. We're looking forward to having him with us this year."
The Wallace State basketball season will resume in October. For more information about Lions basketball, visit www.wallacestate.edu or www.acccsports.org.
