Wallace State Provides Alumni Connection for Nurses
Hanceville, AL-- The Wallace State Alumni Association recently provided an Alumni Connection continuing education event for nurses. The 89 participants received six contact hours of continuing education credit. Wallace State is an Alabama Board of Nursing approved provider for continuing education.
The event provided two sessions: "New Developments in Diabetes Diagnosis and Management" and "All About Kids Immunizations, ADD and Asthma Update." Participants also attended a networking luncheon, tour of the nearby Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and reception.

The Alumni Association is now accepting applications for Alumni Scholarships and the Ozell Hinkle Alumni Scholarship. The deadline for Alumni Scholarship applications is May 11. Ozell Hinkle Alumni Scholarship applications are due June 8.
Nominations are also being accepted for the 2007 Outstanding Alumni Awards. Ten outstanding alumni will be recognized for their exceptional accomplishments in their profession and outstanding service in the community. Nominations must be received by July 7.
