Lions' Baseball Suffers Heartbreaking Loss to End Season
HANCEVILLE, Ala.- The Wallace State-Hanceville baseball team brought their season to a close as they lost 4-3 against Luleen B. Wallace on Monday. The Lions lost their first game in the ACCC State tournament to Chattahoochee Valley Community College by a score of 1-0, but rallied to defeat Alabam Southern 3-2. Their second loss to Lurleen B. Wallace in the double elimination tournament ended their bid for a third straight state title. Wallace State finished the season at 41-12 overall.
