   Wallace State Community College is hosting the 2007 Cultural Arts Week, April 9-14, 2007. This year’s theme is Southern Voices, so get ready to enjoy the events inspired by this year's theme.

Wallace State Community College is hosting a Juried Visual Arts Exhibition on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at the culmination of The 2007 Cultural Arts Week. This year’s theme is Southern Voices, so we are seeking original, representative art inspired by our theme.

Kathryn Tucker Windam

   Author, journalist, and nationally recognized storyteller, Mrs. Windham is one of Alabama’s best known residents. She has written more than 20 books and is an Associated Press award-winning journalist who worked for the Birmingham News and the Selma Times-Journal. She began telling stories in the 1970’s, and today Mrs. Windham often entertains her listeners at story-telling events and historical meetings as well as on Alabama Public Television and National Public Radio.
