Wallace State to Host Child Abuse Awareness/Prevention Seminar
HANCEVILLE, AL-- The Wallace State Community College Human Services/Psychology Department and Brooks’ Place (Child Advocacy Center of Cullman) are sponsoring a training seminar to educate professionals and students on child sexual abuse awareness and prevention.
The seminar titled “Major Issues of Minor Clients: Improving the Lives of Children” will be held Friday, April 28, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Tom Bevill Building on the Wallace State campus in Hanceville.
Registration is $30. Continuing education credit is available for social workers and licensed professional counselors. Wallace State students and employees will be admitted free of charge.
