Go to the Wallace State homepage located at http://www.WallaceState.edu

Click on the logo.

Type in your WebCT ID. Remember, it is your first name, a period and then your last name with respective capital letters. It IS case sensitive.

Type in your password.

Click on the button.

Select the "Add or Import students" to add a student to the course.

      or

Select the "View some students" link to see the students already enrolled.

The student's ID should be as follows:

Note:  Spring semester NEW students only.  The user id will be as follows:

User name: Your user name is comprised of two variables -
    1) first three letters of your last name
             concatenated with (added to) the
    2) last four digits of your student ID.

Example: If your name is Wallace State and your student ID is 234-56-7890, then your WebCT ID should be Sta7890. The WebCT ID is case sensitive and typically begins with a capital letter. If you have problems, please consult with your instructor for further direction.

NOTE: In rare cases, you may have to add an additional 01 or 02 to your UserID if a similar ID already exists (ie - Sta789002.

Please note also that there have been instances where the first three letters of the last name were all lower case. On other occassions, with a name like McSwain you may even have two of the letters (i.e. - McS) capitalized.  If you having difficulty logging in, try these different approaches. We have found that most problems logging in originate from typing in the wrong user name.

Also, for some women who were students before marrying, their previous last name may be used instead of their current last name.

Password: Your password is your Wallace student identification number (234567890) without any dashes.  

Click the button when ready

You should end up with a screen showing the student(s) that have been added to your class.
