Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State Future Foundation is taking reservations to an event that anyone who appreciates fine dining and fine wines will enjoy.

Most recently offered and selling out at the 2023 Student Investment Luncheon, the Foundation is offering a second seating for a five-course gourmet dinner with wine pairing for each at 412 Public House on March 4 at 6 p.m. Each dinner is $135.

“We’ve offered this type of event several times at our annual Student Investment Luncheon, and it’s always been a popular item,” said Suzanne Harbin, Vice President for Advancement. “And the feedback from those attending the event has been extremely positive.”

For the March 4 event, the menu includes appetizers of seared ahi or crab dip paired with a Scandi Frizzante Extra. The soup course will include loaded potato soup paired with an Anterra Pinot Grigio. The salad course includes a Mediterranean salad of cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions topped with feta cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette. The salad will be paired with a Canyon Road Sauvignon Blanc. The main course will include a 5 oz. filet medallion and seared scallops with a white wine reduction accompanied by garlic/rosemary roasted potatoes and asparagus. The main course will be paired with a Proverb Cabernet Sauvignon. The final course will include a dessert of tiramisu paired with a Scandi Frizzante Raspberry Moscato.

To reserve seats, visit www.wsccfuturefoundation.org/stampede. Reservations will be accepted through Feb. 26 or until sold out. Proceeds will support scholarships for Wallace State students.
