Wallace State Women's Basketball Beats Southern Union 60-39

Hanceville, AL — The Wallace State women’s basketball team defeated Southern Union State Community College 60-39 in a division matchup on Feb. 22, 2024, at Traditions Bank Arena in Tom Drake Coliseum.

Kallie Tinker of Pisgah led the offensive charge with 24 points, hitting eight three-pointers. Nylaa Fuller of Huntsville added 14 points and secured a double-double with 20 rebounds. Emariah Grant of Huntsville contributed four points and dished out nine assists. Jaden Winfrey of Cullman scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Wallace State's strong second-half performance secured the win, with a decisive 30-point third quarter. The Lady Lions held Southern Union to just eight points in the fourth quarter, sealing their victory.
