Wallace State hosting ACCS Board of Trustees meeting March 13

Hanceville, AL — Wallace State Community College announces it will host the monthly meeting of the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) Board of Trustees on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Peinhardt Conference Center in the School of Nursing and Center for Science.

“We are honored to welcome Chancellor Jimmy Baker and the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees to Wallace State,” said Dr. Vicki Karolewics, president of Wallace State. “Hosting this meeting provides us with a wonderful opportunity to showcase our college to the full Board, System staff, and guests in attendance. These meetings are always open to the public, and we look forward to seeing many of our constituents there.”

Along with Chancellor Baker, those scheduled to attend the meeting include ACCS Board of Trustees members J.E.B. Shell, John Mitchell, Valerie Gray, Britton Lightsey, Goodrich "Dus" Rogers (vice-chair), Ron Houston, Llevelyn Rhone (chair), Tim McCartney, and Dr. Yvette Richardson. Local and state officials have also been invited to attend.
