MILLBROOK, Ala. — Wallace State flag football delivered another dominant performance on Sunday, rolling to a 54-0 conference win over Lurleen B. Wallace at 17 Springs.

The Lions wasted no time setting the tone. Quarterback Emma Kile capped the opening drive with a 7-yard touchdown pass to Taylor Kindred for a 7-0 lead. Late in the first quarter, Mariah Ragland broke free for a 27-yard touchdown run to extend the advantage to 13-0.

The second quarter belonged to Wallace State. Kile connected with Destinee Ealy for an 11-yard score, then capitalized on a Kindred interception with a 9-yard touchdown strike to Ragland. Following a defensive stop, Ragland added a 16-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 31-0. Just before halftime, Kile and Ealy hooked up again, this time from nine yards out, to give the Lions a commanding 38-0 cushion at the break.

Wallace State kept rolling in the second half. Kindred hauled in four passes on the opening drive, including a 2-yard touchdown from Kile to stretch the lead to 45-0. The defense joined in on the scoring early in the fourth quarter when Aliyah Yarbrough recorded a sack for a safety. Two plays later, Kile and Kindred sealed the victory with a 50-yard touchdown connection to cap the scoring at 54-0.

The Lions’ offense piled up 349 total yards, including 291 through the air, while the defense suffocated LBW, holding them to -8 yards of offense and -38 rushing yards.

Kile finished the day an efficient 25-of-35 for 291 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception. Kindred was unstoppable with 12 receptions for 149 yards and three touchdowns, plus an interception and six flag pulls on defense. Ragland added 77 yards rushing and two scores on just four carries, while also catching five passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Ealy contributed two touchdown receptions, and Talecia Ransom chipped in with four catches for 44 yards.

Defensively, Romajah Walton led the Lions with seven flag pulls, while Williams and Yarbrough each recorded drive-killing sacks.

With the win, Wallace State (11-0) continues to build momentum as the top program in the conference, showcasing both firepower on offense and a stifling defense.
