Wallace State Occupational Therapy Program Hosting Information Session
Hanceville, Ala. — Wallace State Community College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program will be hosting an information session on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m., in room 314 of the Bevill Health Science building.
OTA faculty and staff will be on hand to offer support and advising to those interested in learning more about the program. Occupational therapy assistants work under the direction of occupational therapists to provide rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, emotional or developmental repairs. The goal is to improve clients’ quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.
The program accepts applications for admission from March 1 to June 1 each year, for fall entry. The degree program can be completed in three semesters, following two semesters of prerequisite courses.
